Some children have needs of an emotional, social or behavioural nature (EBSD). This description can be applied to a broad range of young people with a very wide spectrum of needs, from those with short-term emotional difficulties to those with long-term or extreme needs. Children may have problems with exclusion from school, school phobia or problems with relationships for example.
