You CAN go with i-go!

i-go is a county wide scheme improving access to leisure activities for children and young people with disabilities and special educational needs age 0-25 in East Sussex.

We have more than 80 leisure partners already registered with the scheme, covering 77 different locations. These include leisure centres, attractions, activities and clubs, such as Wave and Freedom Leisure, Tumble Tots and Hailsham Pavilion.

Cardholders benefit from

  • i-go guide with details of leisure providers, offers and arrangements to make your activity or visit easier.
  • an ‘i-go champion’ at each venue who you can contact before or during your visit.
  • regular updates via email, text, facebook, parentlinksussex.org.uk- whatever suits you best.
  • support from Information for Families to help you find suitable activities.


Can I apply?

i-go is FREE and is for children and young adults who:

  • are 0-25 years old
  • have disabilities and / or special needs
  • live or receive education in East Sussex

The i-go project is run by Information for Families together with Rockinghorse Children's Charity at East Sussex County Council with funding from the Big Lottery Fund.

i-go is not open to Brighton and Hove residents unless you access education in East Sussex. Brighton and Hove residents can apply for a Compass Card by contacting Amaze.


3i-D cards 

Any i-go card holder aged 11 to 19 can now apply for a FREE 3i-D card. Please see the 3i-D application form and guidance notes attached. We hope that many i-go card holders will take up this FREE offer!
